MILabs is excited to announce the recent delivery of a U-SPECT-II/CT to Moscow State University, in Moscow, Russia. The U-SPECT-II/CT is the very first preclinical system to be used for in vivo radio-molecular imaging research in the Russian Federation. Professor Alexander Sobolev and his research team will utilize the system to answer issues relating to the assessment and specificity of certain gene therapies as well as experiments into radiolabeled tissue distribution for early detection of cancer.
Furthermore, Professor Sobelev will use the MILabs system to facilitate important collaborative work with the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands and with Professor Michael Zalutsky at Duke University in Durham, NC, USA in the area novel drug therapies.
