Anesthesia for animal models
Maintain animal welfare while supporting stable, repeatable imaging conditions.
MILabs’ anesthesia systems provide precise control of anesthetic delivery using integrated vaporizers and flow meters. Automated regulation of anesthetic and air minimizes gas consumption, supports consistent physiological conditions, and helps optimize animal care during imaging sessions. The systems come with integrated anesthesia gas scavenging.
Gating, heating, and monitoring
Control physiological motion and maintain stability for high-quality data acquisition.
Integrated systems for animal monitoring, temperature regulation, and physiological triggering enable flexible acquisition strategies, including combined respiratory and cardiac gating. These tools help reduce motion artifacts and improve data consistency across studies.
Animal preparation stations
Streamline preparation and handling before imaging.
Movable animal preparation stations allow animals to be positioned, injected, and prepared efficiently. Stations can be used on the bench or inside a fume hood, supporting flexible workflows and safe handling practices.
Optical docking stations
Move seamlessly between optical and anatomical imaging workflows.
Optical docking stations allow the MILabs optical imaging unit to operate on the bench for high-throughput 2D imaging, then transition easily to anatomical CT for quantitative 3D bioluminescence and fluorescence tomography. This flexibility supports evolving research needs without additional system complexity.
