U-SPECT/CT
MILabs offers U-SPECT and U-CT as separate systems or as an integrated system. With separate systems functional and anatomic images are fused using (i) fiducial markers or (ii) marker free methods. Both are supported by MILabs' image fusion software package U-REG™. U-SPECT and U-CT can be used in parallel for high throughput imaging and are individually upgradable.
An attractive aspect of high resolution integrated U-SPECT/CT is that the bed with animal does not have to be moved from one scanner to another. With integrated U-SPECT/CT scan additional means of scan planning are possible. For both options extending image fusion to other modalities (e.g. PET or MRI) is also supported by U-REG™.
U-SPECT is field upgradable to integrated U-SPECT/CT, keeping initial costs low.
