Pathogen free multi-modality imaging cells

Multiple mouse bed - Four mice in a single bed for high throughput imaging

Multi modality interchangeable beds
All beds are specially designed for the U-SPECT and the U-CT. These beds are made of PMMA, a strong transparent material suitable for SPECT scans and x-ray CT. Several dedicated rat and mouse models are available with several options for your dedicated applications.
For perfectly aligned images between U-SPECT, U-CT and other modalities, MILabs can meet almost any custom needs.

Integrated heating
For animal scanning the beds are equipped with a transparent heating device. This allows regulation of animal temperature through a heating mat placed under the animal.

Brain bed
This bed has a fixation device for the head of the animal, and is specially designed for brain research. It will ensure that the position of the brain is the same in every scan you make. Within the restrainer there is a teeth bar to optimize the fixation of the animal head.

Gas anesthesia bed
All beds can be equipped with a nose cone attached to silicone tube to provide gas anesthesia to the animal.

Phantoms

Rat brain phantom

hotrod phantom
Gas anesthesia
These beds have a small tube connected to a mouth cap for delivering gas anesthesia to the animal during scanning.

BioVet Physiological monitoring and triggering system
BioVet® is a specialized monitoring system for the preclinical CT, SPECT and PET imaging used for physiological event triggering and animal monitoring. Designed to monitor and trigger from 3 standard channels: Respiration, Temperature and ECG. Output to imaging system hardware for event synchronization via TTL active high or active low (software defined) and has been tested on leading manufacturer’s instruments (i.e. dual trigger out ability). BioVet® has an optional upgrade for animal temperature regulation.
